Equleema is pursuing a PhD in Healthcare Administration and has a background in healthcare administration and international health projects. She has worked with global health initiatives and maternal-child programs, focusing on improving healthcare access and outcomes for immigrants and refugees.
Equleema has held roles with the Global Health Impact Project, Medair International, International Relief and Development, and Johns Hopkins University Research. Her work has included coordinating health programs, supporting UNHCR-funded projects, and enhancing health outcomes for vulnerable populations.
Equleema is committed to developing innovative, practical, sustainable solutions to healthcare challenges and advocating for policies that improve healthcare access for immigrant and refugee communities.
