Benie holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Wheelock College, now part of Boston University. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over 10 years of experience working with marginalized communities.

Benie specializes in supporting individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and stress. She has worked extensively with people experiencing homelessness, individuals with disabilities, immigrants and refugees, incarcerated individuals, survivors of sex trafficking, and those living with chronic health conditions.

Her approach to therapy is trauma-informed and integrates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques. She is committed to creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel empowered to navigate their healing journey.
