Taranum Orya, MA ’25, is a dedicated Clinic Administrative Assistant passionate about improving the health and well-being of the community. Taranum focuses on both direct client services and behind-the-scenes clinic operations, with a special focus on creating a culturally inclusive experience for refugee and immigrant patients by helping them navigate the healthcare system.

What Taranum enjoys most about working at Worcester RISE is the organization’s commitment to eliminating barriers and helping refugees and immigrants achieve health equity and self-sufficiency through innovation, co-location, capacity-building, and collaboration. Additionally, the friendly environment makes it an even more fulfilling place to work, fostering a sense of belonging and collaboration among staff. This positive atmosphere motivates Taranum to continuously give the best of herself in supporting patients and the community.

Taranum speaks Persian, Pashto, Urdu, Hindi and English.
