Diana Namumbejja Abwoye, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
Family Nurse Practitioner
Diana is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Worcester RISE for Health and serves as a Global Partner and Chair of the Board of Directors of Our Bodies Ourselves. She is currently pursuing her PhD at Yale University and is a distinguished Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) Nurse Corps Scholar. Diana is also an active member of the International Advisory Committee (IAC) for Surrogacy 360, with the Center for Genetics and Society, and serves on the Advisory Board for the Global Nursing Caucus.
Diana's academic journey spans continents, with an undergraduate degree from Makerere University Business School in Kampala, Uganda, and a subsequent degree from the University of Massachusetts Boston, College of Science and Mathematics. In 2018, she participated in the Emerging Global Health Leadership symposium in London, UK. In 2024, she attended the Spring International Program at the University of Tokyo in Japan and spent a summer in Palabek refugee settlement, exploring access to and perspectives on preventive medicine.
With over a decade of dedication to culturally sensitive healthcare and global public health initiatives, Diana is deeply engaged in shaping global healthcare policy and advancing health equity worldwide.
